There are thirteen relief images of equal-armed crosses on the facades and the interior of the church; a cross is carved out above the windows and the chancel. Five of them bear donor and commemorative inscriptions executed above the cross. They date to the tenth century. Three pilgrim inscriptions scratched out on the south façade belong to the same period.

It is probable that the donor of the church is commemorated in the on the west façade: Ⴜ(ႫႨႣႠ)Ⴍ ႤႩ(ႪႤ)Ⴑ(ႨႠ)Ⴍ Ⴘ(ႤႨႼႷႠႪ)Ⴄ| ႱႠႬႨႥႠႿ | ႣႶႤႱႠ ႫႠႱ ႢႠႬႩ(ႨႧႾ)Ⴅ|ႨႱႠႱႠ – Holy Church, have mercy on Sanivaj in the Day of Judgement.
