It has preserved a number of incised commemorative inscriptions whose chronology cover the period between the 11th and the 18th centuries. Among these most remarkable are commemorative inscriptions of Giorgi Mamasakhlisi of the 11th century (the name is known from the inscription outlined in the murals of Chvabiani church too), Roman Natiani of the 11th -12th cc, Iovane Suani of the 12th c., etc.
