Fragments of the paintings of the second layer are evidenced only in the chancel.<\/p>\n

Chancel<\/h6>\n

The north lintel of the chancel window preserves a large fragment of plastering with a coat of painting. The plastering with the painting extends under the section blocked-up in a later period. The fragment at the window arch on which azure paint has survived must belong to the same painting layer. Rendering of colors on the fragments makes it presumable that they must date to the painting layer of the 10th-11th centuries.<\/p>\n\n
