Description

The interior of the church was decorated with murals. Presently small fragments have survived only in the chancel.

Chancel

Enthroned Christ is depicted in the conch; an ornament which is hardly discernable now ran below the composition. Remains of the murals have been preserved on the jambs of the chancel windows and near the south capital of the triumphal arch.
